The following terms and conditions apply to your use of Kernow HR’s members-only login service ('the Service') and the associated content and documentation ('the Materials').

 

By subscribing to or accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

1. Licence

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service and the Materials for your internal organisational purposes. Specifically, you may:

  • Display the Materials on screen for personal or internal reference

  • Print a single copy of templates for use within your organisation

  • Download and store the Materials in machine-readable form for the exclusive use of one authorised individual

You may not:

  • Print or reproduce multiple copies of the Materials for distribution outside your organisation

  • Share, resell or sub-license the Service or any Materials, in whole or in part

  • Make the Service or any Materials accessible via a local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), intranet or extranet

  • Copy, distribute, transmit, display, or otherwise use the Materials beyond the scope expressly permitted under this licence​

2. Passwords and Security

Your login credentials, including passwords, are for your individual use only and must not be shared with others. If there is reasonable suspicion of unauthorised access, Kernow HR reserves the right to suspend or revoke access without notice or compensation.

We may suspend or terminate access at any time if there is reasonable belief that these terms and conditions have been breached.

3. Content Disclaimer

Kernow HR may, at its discretion, amend or remove Materials and features without prior notice.

The Materials provided are for general guidance and informational purposes only. They are not intended to constitute legal or professional advice, nor are they a substitute for such advice. Users are advised to seek independent verification before relying on any Materials where decisions or actions could result in loss or damage.

 

Whilst Kernow HR endeavours to ensure the accuracy and currency of the Materials, no guarantee is given as to their completeness or reliability.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in the Service and the Materials (whether digital or printed) remain the exclusive property of Kernow HR.

Users may not:

  • Claim ownership or create derivative works based on the Materials

  • Use the Service or Materials in any manner that infringes Kernow HR’s intellectual property rights

  • Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notices or proprietary markings included in the Materials

 

5. Limitation of Liability

Kernow HR’s total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service or the Materials (except in cases of death or personal injury caused by negligence) is limited to direct losses only and shall not exceed the sum of £1,500,000, being the current limit of Kernow HR’s professional indemnity insurance.

We accept no liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including but not limited to loss of profit, revenue, or business opportunity.

 

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. If any provision is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, the remainder of the terms shall remain in full force and effect.
